She is an Independent Director of our company. She holds a Master’s in arts (political science) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, a Master’s in philosophy in ‘Soviet Policy in the Caribbean and Central America’ from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and Doctorate of philosophy (development studies) from the University of Mysore. She has also completed the post-graduate diploma programme in public policy and management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru. She has participated in a programme on ‘Reforms in Public Administration for IAS officers’ at the Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru and completed the IIMB/Maxwell Public Policy Programme conducted by the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University. She has over 22 years of experience in Indian Administrative Service. Previously, she has been designated as the Deputy Commissioner, Bellary district under the Government of Karnataka and as the General Manager, Handlooms and Handicrafts Export Corporation, New Delhi under the Ministry of Textiles. She has also been associated with SIRD. (She was appointed as an Additional Director on October 10, 2019, and her appointment was regularised on November 08, 2019).
