He is an Independent Director of LPGCL since July 28, 2015. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and a Master’s degree in social work. He served as a representative for the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) on the board of Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited until November 11, 2008. He has more than 36 years of experience in the insurance sector. During his tenure with LIC, he occupied various positions, such as regional manager, and was in charge of three LIC divisions. He retired as an executive director of LIC in February 2003.
